In these early years, children absorb and respond to information and eagerly search out new experiences. Over the years we have been operating, Highdale Day Nursery has developed a carefully considered curriculum of activities to ensure your child experiences the benefits of learning through play, whatever their age.
Regular communication with parents and carers is a cornerstone of our philosophy, and you will speak to the staff who look after your child on a daily basis. Periodic reports are written, and we will also meet formally to discuss your child's development. A daily progress record is also available, and newsletters and notice boards keep you in touch with nursery events.
Every child at Highdale Day Nursery will enjoy a day which is full of activities - some energetic, some quiet. All will be child-directed, to ensure that confidence and decision making is developed. Outside play is always included, weather permitting.
Highdale Day Nursery provide lunch and tea, with food freshly prepared in our own kitchens. Drinks and snacks are also provided between meal times. Please take some time to explore our website and learn for yourself why we were again rated so highly by OFSTED.
